Mid Winter Swim 2009
The Annual Mid Winter Swim
Which takes place at Surf Bay, East Falklands
With the Sea Temperature at just above 4 C
The Air temperature at a refreshing 4C
A Wind Speed of 8 Knots the Sun is shining the only thing missing,
SNOW.....
However that did not deter the 300 or so participants in this years
Mid Winter Swim.
Some 500 people turned up for the Event more than half actually
Participated.
