During November 2007.
Some 250 Falkland War Veterans,
visited the Falkland Islands, from the UK.
To mark the Twenty Fifth Anniversary of the War.

The Veterans were hosted by Falkland Islanders many of whom
Housed them and drove them to where ever they wanted to go.

Several public receptions were held in their honour,together
with a dance and a Concert.

In amongst these activities were ceremonies to pay respect to their fallen comrades in arms.


On the 3rd January 2008.
The Royal Marines unveiled a plaque,
in Stanley to Commemorate the long ties,
The Corp has, with the Falkland Islands.
Dating back to 1765.


Invited guests included ,
HE the Governor Alan Huckle together with,
visiting FCO Minister Meg Munn along with Councillors
and others.

New Gallery.
The May Ball Gallery.
One of the most prestigious social events of the Year.
It is also the main fundraiser for The Falkland Island Scouts & Cubs
